This writ petition has been filed challenging the notification No.03 of 2021 dated 05.02.2021 issued by the respondents and to direct the third respondent to allot one post out of 26 vacancies in the post of Assistant Director of Horticulture and Horticulture Officer in the Tamil Nadu Horticulture Service for the Schedule Caste (Arunthathiyars) category and appoint the petitioner in the said post. 2.
Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition. He also made an endorsement in the Court bundle to that effect.

Considering the submissions and endorsements made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
