The plaintiff has presented this application for amendments to the plaint.

2. Learned counsel for the plaintiff submits that this application was necessitated by the statements made by the first defendant in the written statement. Learned counsel for the first defendant is present and submitted that he has no objection to this application being allowed without prejudice to the pleadings of the first defendant.

3. The suit is at the pre-trial stage. Upon examining the affidavit in support and being satisfied that the nature and character of the suit is not being altered, this application is allowed as prayed for. Consequently, the plaintiff shall carry out these amendments on or before 23.01.2023 and serve a copy of the amended plaint on the other parties within a week thereafter.
