ORDER

The petitioner is the owner of the lorry bearing Registration No. Registration No.TN 85 5628 with Engine No.400921POOO4903 with Chasis No MECO 563AFEPOO4255. Seeking a direction to release the same, said to have been in the custody of the respondents, he has come before this Court.

2. The learned Government Pleader on instructions submitted that investigation is over and the petitioner was asked to take his vehicle. It is he, who did not turn up.

3. Considering the same, the petitioner is directed to approach the respondents within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On being done so, the respondents shall release the vehicle subject to the condition as they deem fit.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
