Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard both sides.

3. One Chellappa Gounder, the grand-father of the petitioner, is said to have obtained a loan from the Government for digging a Well. It is stated that the said Chellappa Gounder and also his son by name Arumuga Gounder died one after another, without discharging the said loan. that the petitioner is ready and willing to settle the said loan, so as to delete the encumbrance made in respect of the subject matter property.

Ventilating such action, the petitioner has made a representation on 18.12.2017 before the respondents.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said representation has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondents to consider and decide the same. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.12.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
