Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of habeas corpus, to call for the records relating to petitioner husband's detention under Tamil nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order dated 07.12.2018 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein made in proceedings No. 1113/BCDFGISSSV/2018 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the said petitioner husband namely Lakshmipathy son of Rajendran, aged 26 years before this Hon'ble High Court and set the petitioner husband at liberty from detention, now petitioner husband detained at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai - 600 066 . ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The Petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention dated 07.12.2018 in Memo No.1113/BCDFGISSSV/2018, detaining her https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

husband as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenue has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.442 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 07.02.2019 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
