ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.541 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent Inspector of Police, TIW St Thomas Mount, Police Station, Chennai for the offences under Section 279 and 337 of IPC and quash the same.
2. When the matter is taken up today, a joint memo is filed by the petitioner and the second respondent stating that they settled the issues amicably between the petitioner and the de facto complainant and they do not want to proceed further with this case. Further the de facto complainant requires the quashing of the proceedings in Crime No.541 of 2016.

3. Today, the petitioner, second respondent/de facto complainant and the injured, Mr.Manikandan are present before this Court. This Court enquired with them, especially enquired Mr.Manikandan. The petitioner, second respondent and injured Mr.Manikandan reiterated that they resolve their dispute and the second respondent and the injured Mr.Manikandan does not want to proceed further with this case and he has no objection to quash the proceedings in Crime No.541 of 2016.
4. Recording the above submissions, the proceedings in Crime No.541 of 2016 is quashed. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed on the terms of the joint compromise memo filed by the petitioner and the second respondent.
