O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to transfer the investigation in Crime No.989 of 2014 on the file of the 2nd respondent police to any other competent agency.

2. It is seen that the investigation in Crime No.989 of 2014 is pending on the file of the 2nd respondent. Now, almost five years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.

3. However, considering that the crime is of the year 2014, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the 2nd respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.989 of 2014 and file a final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already filed.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
