By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to provide alternative employment to the petitioner and pay wages to him from 10.07.2025 to till the date of providing him with alternate employment and also promote him as Driving Instructor or to any other suitable post of the same rank with all the consequential benefits from the date of promotion of his juniors as Driving Instructors. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner joined the service of the respondent Corporation as a Driver on 07.07.1994 and his services were regularized with effect from 01.05.1995. Since the petitioner acquired disability (defective eye sight), while he was in service, the second respondent refused to provide employment to the petitioner with effect from 10.07.2025 and also refused to grant him promotion legitimately due to him. In this regard, the petitioner made several representations and the last of 2/4

such representation was made on 18.11.2025, however, there is no response. Hence, this Court may without going into the merits of the case, issue direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2025 and to pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time frame.

4.Considering the limited relief now sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The writ petition is disposed of.
