The present petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Paragraph No.9 (a) of the order dated 15.11.2022 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.25846 of 2022 while granting bail.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that one of the conditions imposed on the petitioner is that "the petitioner should deposit the original title deeds of the immovable property worth about Rs.10 lakhs either belonging to himself or family members or friends to the credit of Crime Number at the time of executing the sureties. He would further submit that the petitioner is hailing from poor family and he is an agriculturist and doing daily wage work and he is not having friends or relatives who are possessing property worth about Rs.10,00,000/- . Hence, he would seek to modify the aforesaid condition.
3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

Taking into consideration, the facts and the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is allowed by modifying the condition to the effect that " the petitioner shall deposit the original title deeds of the immovable property worth about Rs.1 lakh either belonging to himself or family members or friends to the credit of Crime Number at the time of executing the sureties before the learned II Additional Special Court for NDPS Cases, Chennai". All other conditions remain intact.
5. With the above modifications, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed.
