This Writ Petition filed under Section 226 of Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Declaration declaring the Land Acquisition proceedings relating to petitioner lands of an extent of 0.72.0 Hectares equivalent to 1 Acre 78 Cents in Survey No. 798/1 of Thanthoni Village Karur Taluk and District initiated by the 4(1) notification bearing G.O.Ms.No.446 Revenue dated 3.6.1998 published in the Tamilnadu Government Gazette Part-II Section 2 dated 4.6.1998 and covered by the Award bearing No.6/99 dated 6.7.1999 as lapsed.

2. In view of the decision of the Constitution Bench of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India reported in 2020 (8) SCC 129, Indore Development Authority Vs. Manoharlal and Others, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
