This quash petition has been filed seeking to quash the complaint filed against the petitioner for offence under Sections 500 and 501 of I.P.C.

2. Earlier when the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), on instructions, submitted that now the Government has passed a Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.463, Public (Law and Order-H) Department, dated 10.08.2021 withdrawing the defamation case as per Section 321 of Cr.P.C. and also produced a copy of the same.
