Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 4th and 5th respondents to conduct enquiry and take necessary action against the 6th to 8th respondents for misappropriating the Government schemes by getting bribe and earned assets of their income on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 01.10.2021 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) None appears for the petitioner. We have heard Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate for respondent Nos.1 to 5 and Mr.V.Karthikeyan, learned counsel for respondent Nos.6 to 8.

2. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submits that an enquiry was made and pursuant to the enquiry, the F.I.R. is also registered against respondent Nos.6 and 7 on 29.02.2024. In view of that, the purpose of the writ petition stands served. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
