ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to restore the drinking water connection of petitioner's residence at 154/17 Kulathupunjai Street, R.K.R.Nagar, Dharapuram [TK], Tiruppur [DT], vide tax No.0007695.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, there was no representation on either side. However, perusal of the affidavit filed in support of this writ

petition reveals that the petitioner has remitted the entire water tax payable to the respondent. Hence, the petitioner is entitled for restoration of water supply.

3. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondent to restore the water connection of petitioner's residence at No.154/17, Kulathupunjai Street, R.K.R.Nagar, Dharapuram [TK], Tiruppur [DT] within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition also closed. List the case on 28.04.2026 under the caption "For Reporting Compliance".
