Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, praying to call for the records of the 1st respondent in G.O.Ms.No.234 Finance (Pay Cell) Department dated 01.06.2009 with respect to the pay scales of post Graduate Teachers appointed after 01.06.2009 in the Schools of Tamil Nadu and quash the same and direct the respondents to constitute an expert committee under the chairmanship of a retired judge of this Court to look into and recommend suggestions to correct the pay anomalies that have arisen out of thhe impugned G.O.Ms.No.234 from the date of operation.

ORDER
Though this writ petition has been filed seeking for appointment of the expert Committee under the Chairmanship of a retired Judge of this Court to look into and recommend to correct the pay anomaly alleged to have taken place in G.O.Ms.No.234 Finance (Pay Cell) Department dated 01.06.2009, 2/5
the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought the indulgence of this Court to permit the petitioner to make a representation before the Government, seeking rectification of the anomalies that are said to have taken place in the fixation of pay for Post Graduate Teachers and for consideration of such representation by the respondents.
3.In the light of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits, the writ petition is disposed of, granting liberty to the petitioners to make appropriate representation before the respondents, seeking rectification of the alleged anomaly in the fixation of the pay for the Post Graduate Teachers, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case, if any such representation is submitted, the respondents shall consider the same on merits and pass appropriate orders thereon within a further period of three months from the date of submission of the representation.
4.With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 12.11.2024 3/5
