This application has been filed to condone the delay of 83 days in filing the Written Statement of the applicants/first and second defendants in C.S.(Comm.Div.)No.182 of 2022.

2. No counter has been filed in this application for condoning the delay in filing the Written Statement.

3. The Court records indicate that the suit summons on the defendants was served on 13.09.2022. Ordinarily, the Written Statement should have been filed within a period of thirty days from the date of service of suit summons in terms of amended provisions of C.P.C. The 30th day would have expired on 12.10.2022.

4. The Written Statement has been filed before the Registry along with this application on 06.01.2023.
