ORDER

The writ petition was filed challenging the order dated 15.05.1997 to fix the seniority. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the 2nd Respondent that seniority has been fixed subsequently and in any view, the Respondent Mill is no longer in existence and the petitioner has retired from service. In view of the same, learned counsel for the 2nd Respondent submitted that nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition and that the learned counsel for the petitioner has also been informed of the same.

2. Recording the above submission, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition, if any, is closed.
