Respondents Prayer:- This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 18.12.2014 in Memo BCDFGISSSV No.2221/2014 against the petitioner's brother, the detenu herein, now confined at Central Prison, Vellore and to set aside the same and to direct the respondents to produce the detenu, Rajesh, son of Krishnamoorthy, aged about 27 years, before this Court and to set him at liberty. ORDER

(The order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN.,J.) The petitioner, who is the sister of the detenu, Rajesh, son of Krishnamoorthy, aged about 27 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 18.12.2014 against her son branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Cyber Law Offenders, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Sexual Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982).

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against the son of the petitioner dated 18.12.2014 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.1447, Home, Prohibition & Excise (X) Department dated 27.02.2015 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed as the same has become infructuous.
