The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider and pass orders on the the petitioner's application dated 15.06.2016 with regard to issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner within a time frame.

2.Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass orders, after conducting enquiry in accordance with law. 3.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

15.06.2016, conduct enquiry and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
