ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the 1st respondent / District Collector, Vellore, to dispose of the appeal dated 29.11.2022, which had been filed by the petitioners. 2.The learned Government Advocate had taken time to get necessary instructions.

3.In view of the fact that the appeal is now pending before the 1st respondent, it may not be proper on my part to examine the merits of the case. At any rate, since the 1st respondent / District Collector, Vellore, as a statutory authority, he/she ought to follow the principles of natural justice and dispose of the appeal. The appeal should be disposed of after giving opportunity to all concerned on or before 31.03.2023.

4.With the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
