ORDER
Apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No.390 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 126(2), 109(2), 351(2), 3(6) & 49 of BNS, 2023, the present petition has been filed seeking anticipatory bail.
2. Pleading innocence on the part of the petitioner, false implication in the case, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks indulgence of this Court. He 1/4
further submits that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court.
3. The case of the prosecution as putforth by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police, opposing for grant of anticipatory bail, is that due to a pathway dispute, the accused hired henchmen to carry out the attack. He would submit that the victim has suffered grievous cut injuries on the neck, his condition is very critical and he is still in the hospital.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.
5. Considering the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner and also taking note of the fact that the victim is still in the hospital, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
