Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to re-fix the seniority list based on the Rule 22 of the Tamil Nadu State and Subordinates Service Rules as per the original appointment of the year 1997 based on the representations of the Petitioners dated 25.08.2015 and 22.09.2015 within the stipulated time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

The grievance of the petitioners are that they were initially appointed as temporary employees and subsequently their services are regularized. Now, the petitioners are working https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
as permanent employees in the respondent Board. The seniority has not been fixed as per the rules in force. 2.The learned counsel for the writ petitioner states that the seniority of the writ petitioners have to be considered in accordance with the rules in force. However, the respondents have not taken any action to settle the seniority of the writ petitioners so far. In this regard, the petitioners have submitted a representation to the 1st respondent on 25.08.2015 and on 10.09.2015 and the same are pending even today. 3.Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representations submitted by the writ petitioners on 25.08.2015 and on 10.09.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The writ petitioner is directed to enclose the copy of the representation and the relevant documents along with the orders passed in this writ petition. 4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
