Petition filed under Sections. 3, 7, 10 and Section. 25 of the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890 r/w O XXI Rules 2, 3 and 11 of O.S. Rules and Clause 17 of the letters patent praying as follows to appoint the petitioner as the Guardian of the person of the minor child, Johanna Megalai, born on 10.05.2010 now aged 8 years and to grant permanent custody of the person of the minor child to the petitioner.

2. O.P.No. 71 of 2019 has been filed by the mother seeking custody of the minor child Johanna Megalai, born on 10.05.2010. The parties have entered into a compromise in and by which the respondent, the father of the child has agreed that the mother of the child shall be the sole guardian subject to a certain visitation rights as detailed in the memorandum of compromise. The memo of compromise has been signed by the parties as well as the counsels. Hence, the original petition is disposed of in terms of compromise. The memorandum of compromise will form in part of the decree.
