Respondent(s) PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent _District Revenue Officer, Thiruvallur District, to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 03.02.2025 relating to cancellation of fraudulent mutation of revenue records in respect of land in Survey No.43/3 measuring 2 Acres 67 Cents situated at Paivalasa Village, R.K. Pettai Taluk, Thiruvallur District, within a stipulated time.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a limited relief. The petitioner seeks for early disposal of the petitioner's appeal dated 03.02.2025, pending on the file of the 1st respondent.

2.Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Mr.L.Ramu, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the 8th respondent.

3.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if a direction is issued to 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 03.02.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, by hearing the objections of the private respondents 3 to 8 and by adhering to the principles of natural justice. 4.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's appeal dated 03.02.2025.

5.Since no adverse orders are passed against the private respondents, notice to the respondents 3 to 7 is dispensed with by this Court in this writ petition.

6.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the 1st respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's appeal dated 03.02.2025, after hearing the objections of the respondents 3 to 8 and any other third party, whom the 1st respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by adhering to the principles of natural justice.
