Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the respondent in X/K/vz;/2257/2019m5 dated 17.09.2019 and the same has to be quashed consequently and direct the respondent to issue legal heir certificate after conducting enquiry in favour of the petitioner. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed 1/4

by the respondent dated 17.09.2019 thereby rejected the request made by the petitioner seeking legal heirship certificate. 2.

On perusal of the records, revealed that the petitioner applied for legal heirship certificate for the deceased husband Devendran who died on 06.11.2015. On verification, it was found that the said deceased Devendran got married with two wives. Therefore, the petitioner was rightly directed to approach civil court and only after declaration of the petitioner's status as legally wedded wife, the request made by the petitioner can be considered. As such, this court finds no infirmity or illegality in the impugned order passed by the respondent. 3.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
