Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the entire records in pursuant to the rejection order issued by the third respondent vide Na.Ka.No.Pa.E1/4108/2019 dated 27.11.2020 and subsequent consequential G.O.(Ms).No.202 Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (E3) Department dated 01.12.2020 issued by the first respondent and the recruitment notification issued by the third respondent vide Na.Ka.No.Pa.A2/5671/2020 dated 10.12.2020 and quash all of them and consequentially direct the respondents to absorb the petitioners in the post of Overseer/ Junior Draughting Officer in the regular available vacancies in the first respondent's department.

This Writ Petition has been filed for quashment of the rejection order issued by the third respondent vide Na.Ka.No.Pa.E1/4108/2019 dated 27.11.2020 and G.O.(Ms).No.202 Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (E3) Department dated 01.12.2020 issued by the first respondent and the recruitment notification issued by the third respondent vide Na.Ka.No.Pa.A2/5671/2020 dated 10.12.2020 and consequently direct the respondents to absorb the petitioners in the post of Overseer/ Junior Draughting Officer in the regular available vacancies in the first respondent's
department.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.R.U.Dinesh Rajkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the recruitment notification issued by the third respondent vide Na.Ka.No.Pa.A2/5671/2020 dated 10.12.2020 which was put under challenge in this Writ Petition has been recalled by the District Collector, Cuddalore District on 23.08.2024 in Na.Ka.No.Pa.A6/3003/2021. Hence, the relief sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous.
3. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
