Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the fourth respondent to transfer the Crime No.527 of 2011 filed by the petitioner to the 1 to 3 respondents to investigate the complaint of the petitioner and arrest the offenders who committed the double murder.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the fourth respondent to transfer the Crime No.527 of 2011 filed by the petitioner to the 1 to 3 respondents to investigate the complaint of the petitioner and arrest the offenders who committed the double murder.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. This is a double murder case which has taken place in the year 2011 and the local police were not able to make any breakthrough for the last five years.

4. Under such circumstances, it will serve the interest of justice if the case in Crime No.527/2011 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Sirkali is transferred to the file of the the third respondent herein.

5.In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the case in Crime No.527/2011 pending on the file of the sixth respondent is transferred to the file of the third respondent and who shall investigate the case and take action in accordance with law.
