The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to file the final report in Cr.No.272 of 2021 expeditiously within a time frame.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that investigation in Crime No. 272 of 2021 for the offences under Section 294(b), 324, 506(2), 153 of IPC and Section 4 of TNPHW Act is going on and the respondent will be able to complete the enquiry and file the final report within a period of six months.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with the direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
