ORDER
The petition has been filed seeking police protection to survey the petitioner's land bearing Plot No.144, Vallur Village, Survey No.82/36, Old Survey No.82/part, Patta No.41, ad-measuring 282 sq.mtr, based on the representation dated 16.08.2024.
2. The petitioner owned the property bearing Door No.24, Pallipuram Palayam, Amman Kovil Street, Vallur Village, Ponneri - 601 203, bearing Plot No.144, Vallur Village, Survey No.82/36, Old Survey No.82/part, Patta No.41, ad-measuring 282 sq.mtrs through a deed of sale in Doc.No.1329/2013 dated 31.01.2013. While being so, the petitioner submitted an Application to survey the land before the 5th respondent on
16.08.2024 and he passed an order dated 11.04.2022 directing the land surveyor to survey the aforesaid land with police protection. However, the 6th respondent along with henchmen obstructed the surveyor while surveying the land.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for R1 to R4 and the learned Special Public Prosecutor for R5. Though notice is served on the six respondent and his name is printed in the cause list, no one is appearing before this Court either by person or through any counsel.
4. Considering the above facts and circumstances, if the request is made by the petitioner before the 4th respondent, the 4th respondent is directed to provide police protection to the revenue officials to survey the property belonging to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the order.
5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
