JUDGMENT

Today, when the matter came up under the caption "For Reporting Compliance."

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the complainant would submit that compromise has arrived between the parties and the complainant has also received the balance amount in full quit and he does not have any objection in this Court passing further orders.

Recording the statement that is made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the complainant and that there has been a compromise arrived between the parties and the complainant has received the balance amount in full quit, this criminal revision is closed on compromise and the conviction of the petitioner/ John Mahendra Kumar for an offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instrumentation Act and the sentence imposed on the petitioner/ appellant by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Gobichettypalayam, vide judgment dated 23.09.2019 in S.T.C.No.838 of 2017 and confirmed by the III Additional District and Sessions Judge, Gobichettypalayam, Erode District, vide judgment dated 22.10.2021 in C.A.No.25 of 2020 is hereby set aside and the offence is treated to have been compounded between the parties. 2/4

Accordingly, this Criminal Revision petition is closed on compromise. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions, if any stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
