PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the entire records connected with the detention order of the 2nd respondent in No.659/BCDFGISSSV/2023 dated 11.12.2023 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body and person of detenu namely Vicky @ Kozhikal Vicky, S/o.Murugaiyan, aged 27 years detained in Central Prison, Puzhal-II, Chennai, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.446, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 23.01.2024, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
