N.S.SUGANTHAN, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner,who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Section 379 of IPC in Cr.No.756 of 2021,seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner illegally quarried the stone beyond the limit as prescribed in the agreement and caused huge loss to the Government. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence prays for grant of anticipatory bail.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner quarried the stone beyond the limit as prescribed in the agreement with the Government and caused huge loss to the Government and the investigation is not yet completed. Hence, he vehemently opposed the grant of bail.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner quarried the stone beyond the limit as prescribed in the agreement, which needs detailed investigation, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
