(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 498(A), 323, 406, 495, 506(i) of I.P.C. and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, Section 4 of T.N. Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002, in Crime No.24 of 2019, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. However, today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.A.Jayaprakash, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Criminal Original Petition.
