Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a writ of certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the entire records pertaining to the order passed by the Secretary (Addl.Charge) Secretariat Branch, TANGEDCO Ltd, the 3rd respondent herein vide his proceedings in Letter No.31171/A3/A31/2011-6 dated 08.04.2013 and quash the same as illegal, arbitrary, unreasonable being violative of rules and principles of natural justice and thereby direct the Chairman, Tamilnadu Electricity Board, the 1st respondent herein to extend the benefits of G.O.Ms.No.256 P & A.R. (Per.B) Dept dated 01.08.1992 bifurcating the post of Typists/Steno Typists into two categories namely "Typists" and "Steno Typists" by suitable amending the service rules and thereby implement the

same to the members of the petitioner's Association and promote the eligible members of the petitioner's Association as Superintendent or its equivalent cadres.

ORDER

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.A.R.Suresh, learned counsel appearing for petitioner, on instructions submits that this Court may permit the petitioner to withdraw the Writ Petition and permit the petitioner to raise all the issues before the committee under Sections 18 (1) and Section 12 (3) of the Industrial Disputes Act.

2. Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to raise all the issues before the committee under Sections 18 (1) and Section 12 (3) of the Industrial Disputes Act. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
