This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to issue a passport to the petitioner's son without insisting for order for custody of the child.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of this writ petition, the passport was already issued to the petitioner's son and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.
