Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 25.10.2017, wherein and whereby, he sought for issuance of Patta in his favour in respect of the land in Survey No.74-1, 0.40.0 acres and Survey No.74-2, 0.62.0 acres in Pallavarayanatham Panchayat, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Panruti Taluk, Cuddalore District.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said representation has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.10.2017, after hearing the petitioner as well as the rival claimants and other interested persons, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
