This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.02/2015, pending on the file of the first respondent police. 2.

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing through Video Conferencing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent and also perused the records. 3.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the case in Crime No.02 of 2015, which is under challenge in this petition, on completion of investigation, had culminated into C.C.No.2772 of 2016 and after full pledged trial, the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, had acquitted all the three accused/petitioners herein on 28.06.2019. The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent confirms the same.

In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
