ORDER

(Heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(a) and 4(1-A) of TNP Act, in Crime No.344 of 2019, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in possession of 8 bottles of brandy liquor each containing 180 ml and 5 liters of poisons liquid. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and she has been falsely implicated in this case. However, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner is a habitual offender and five previous cases cases pending against him hence he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the allegations and the bad antecedent of the petitioner and also the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is essential, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
