O R D E R

This petition has been filed to call for the records relating to Crime No.2/2015 on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Tiruchengode, Namakkal District.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is a matrimonial dispute between the first petitioner and the second respondent/defacto complainant, for which, the entire family members of the first petitioner have been implicated in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

this case. The learned counsel further submitted that the first petitioner and the second respondent got married and they were living separately with their respective families.

3. The learned counsel for the second respondent/defacto complainant submitted that after leaving from the first petitioner, the second respondent had now got married and she is living happily with her husband now. Further, she is not interested to pursue the complaint.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the respondent police had enquired the defacto complainant about the subsequent happenings. At that time, the second respondent/defacto complainant had given a letter to the respondent police. Further, she admits that she got married and is living happily with her present husband.

5. Considering the submissions and on perusal of the materials, it is seen that it is a matrimonial dispute. After filing the complaint, the issues between the first petitioner and the second respondent were settled and they are leading their life happily with their respective families. In view of the same, this Court finds that the continuance of the proceedings against the petitioners would amount to abuse of process of law. Hence FIR in Crime No.2 of 2015 is hereby quashed.
