O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer investigation in Crime No.228 of 2018 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent Police to any other competent Police officer in Ariyalur District or to CBCID.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor filed a status report and also submitted that on perusal of the entire records, based on the witnesses statement and material evidence, the 2nd respondent police are going to close the case in Crime No.228 of 2018 as "Further Action Dropped" and also they will serve the R.C.S notice to the defacto complainant as soon as possible.

3.In view of the above submission, the prayer sought by the petitioner to transfer the investigation in Crime No.228 of 2018 on the file of the 2nd respondent Police has become Infructuous.

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as Infructuous.
