This Court vide order dated 15.12.2022, allowed the appeal filed by the appellant with a direction learned Principal District Judge, Cuddalore to transfer the C.M.A.No.32 of 2007 to the Family Court at Cuddalore and the said Court was directed to dispose of the said appeal within a period of three months from the date of a copy of the said order.

2. Pursuant to the said order, the learned Family Court Judge, Cuddalore sent a letter dated 18.07.2023, to the Registrar General stating that the CMA.No.32 of 2007 was re-numbered as CMA.No.1 of 2023 and sought further extension to dispose of the said case. Accordingly, the matter is listed today under the caption 'for extension of time'.

3. In view of the above, this Court, is inclined to grant further period of three months to dispose of the case in CMA.No.1 of 2023 and learned Family Court Judge, Cuddalore is directed to expedite the proceedings and complete it within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
