The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.
When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the petitioner is one of the named accused in Crime No.10 of 2026 registered on the file of the third respondent, for the offences under Sections 318(4) and 316(2) of the BNS. He further submitted that the petitioner was not harassed during the investigation and that his presence is required for further investigation. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the petitioner to co-operate in the investigation. 20.01.2026 ham 2/4
