For Petitioners : Mr. M.Sivavarthanan For Respondents : Mr.T.M.Pappiah Spl.Govt.Pleader C O M M O N O R D E R These writ petitions have been filed by the petitioners seeking for issuance of writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.03.2017 and pass orders in the light of g.O.(2.D)No.23
Personnel & Administrative Reforms (D4) Department dated 07.04.2016.

All the petitioners were directly recruited for the post of Assistants in the Rural Development & Panchayat Raj Department through the combined Subordinate Service ExaminationI, 2009-2011 conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.(TNPSC) Subsequently, the third respondent, District Collector, Nagapattinam, appointed one S.Sekar and P.Ravindran, as Assistants and they joined the services on 07.01.2013 and 24.12.2012 respectively. Once again, the third respondent, District Collector appointed K.Mahesh and M.Kalidass as Assistants and they have also joined the duty on 17.12.2012 and 28.12.2012 respectively. Now the grievance of the petitioners is that the third respondent granted promotion to the juniors in the cadre of Assistants on 28.12.2015. Therefore, the petitioners have given a representation to the third respondent dated 08.03.2017. The said representation has not been considered and hence, the present writ petitions have been filed.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. In similar circumstances, this court has also disposed of the writ petition in W.P.No.3545 of 2015 on 12.02.2015 directed the first respondent to consider the similar representation, in the light of the order in G.O.(2 Pa) No.7, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (Pa.a-4) Department dated 30.01.2012 passed by the first respondent and the proceedings dated 31.07.2014 of the third respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Hence, these writ petitions are disposed of, with a direction to the first respondent to consider the the representation of the petitioner dated 08.03.2017 in the light of G.O.(2 Pa) No.7, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department (Pa.a-4) Department dated 30.01.2012 passed by the first respondent and the proceedings dated 31.07.2014 of the third respondent, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
