Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the entire records in pursuant to the rejection order passed by the 3rd respondent vide Endorsement Rc.A5/3730/2012 dated 11.08.2012 and quash the same and direct the respondents to sanction and pay the service benefits to the petitioner for his services rendered as Village Administrative Officer at Pinji group village, Walajah Taluk for the period from 22.10.1982 to 17.2.1992 with accrued interest within a stipulated period. When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that during the pendancy of the writ petition, the petitioner died. He https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
would further submit that after the death of the petitioner, he requested the legal heirs of the petitioner to implead themselves in the writ petition by filing appropriate petition, however, thereafter he could not get any instructions from them. Hence, the learned counsel reports 'no instructions'. 2.Since the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner reports 'no instructions', this Court is of the opinion that the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner are not interested to pursue the matter. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
