This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to execute the warrant issued by the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Gummidipoondi, against the first respondent, in C.C.No.98 of 2024.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the second respondent submitted that the bailable warrant dated 18.06.2025, issued by the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Gummidipoondi, against the first respondent/accused in C.C.No.98 of 2024, was executed on 13.01.2026. He further submitted that on the same day, the first respondent/accused executed a bond with two sureties and thereby, he was released and directed to appear before the trial Court on the next hearing date i.e., on 23.01.2026.
