This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings against the petitioner in Cr.No.348/2023 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Viruthachalam Police Station, Cuddalore District.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation has been completed and final report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Virudhachalam, on 31.01.2024.

3. In the light of the above development, the relief as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court. If ultimately, the final report is acted upon by the Court below and summon is issued to the petitioner and the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, it is left open to the petitioner to workout his remedy in accordance with law.
