Respondents PRAYER: The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to recover from the second respondent a sum of Rs.3,24,581/- (Rupees Three Lakh Twenty Four Thousand Five Hundred and Eighty One only) being the unpaid portion of the petitioner's father's Gratuity amount with interest thereon upto 31.07.2018 under the Revenue Recovery Act forthwith as per the Recovery Certificate issued by the Controlling Authority and Deputy Commissioner of Labour, Salem, based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2020. The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to initiate recovery proceedings and recover the gratuity amount awarded by the Controlling Authority along with interest.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that they have already complied https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

with the order passed by this Court.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the Writ Petitioner was disbursed with a sum of Rs.1,55,726/- by way of Cheque bearing No.840973 dated 23.02.2021 and Rs.1,36,040/- by way of Cheque bearing No.840974 dated 23.02.2021 totaling to Rs.2,91,766/-.

Recording the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
