By consent of both parties, the Writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 11.12.2017.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 20.10.2017 to the second respondent to rectify the settlement deed by registering rectification deed. By an order dated 01.12.2017, the second respondent rejected the petitioner's request to register the rectification deed without assigning any proper reasons vide order No.220/2017. Against the said order, the petitioner has preferred an appeal dated 11.12.2017 before the first respondent and the same was acknowledged by the first respondent on 09.01.2018. But, the appeal is still pending before the first respondent more than a year. Further, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner has also sent representations dated 22.03.2018, 16.04.2018 and 25.10.2018 seeking early disposal of the said appeal. Since the first respondent has not yet disposed of the said appeal, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.

4. Heard Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader on behalf of the respondents.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation, directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 11.12.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the persons interested in this regard and also affording them an opportunity of personal hearing, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
