ORDER

According to the petitioner, the Board of the petitioner society passed a resolution dated 31.03.2017 to conduct a statutory enquiry under Section 81 and 82 of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act for the irregularities committed by the Secretary of the Society, who is now under suspension. Along with the copy of the resolution, the petitioner made a representation to the second respondent on 31.03.2017. The said https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation is still pending and no order has been passed. At this stage, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition before this Court.

2. The Government Advocate would submit that the said representation made by the petitioner is pending and the same shall be considered in accordance with law.

3. Therefore, at this stage, without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.03.2017 and to pass an order on merits, in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. No costs.
