ORDER

This Contempt petition was filed mainly on the ground that the order passed by the 1st respondent was beyond the time that was stipulated by this Court. According to the petitioner, the order ought to have been passed by 04.10.2021 and whereas the 1st respondent proceeded to pass the order only on 18.10.2021. 2.

When the contempt petition came up for hearing on 27.06.2022, this Court directed the learned Additional Government pleader to provide the particulars regarding the enquiry made by the 1st respondent and the reasons for the delay in passing the order. 3.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the written instructions received from the Registrar of Co-operative Societies was produced before this Court.

On carefully going through the written instructions, it is seen that apart from the original representation, the petitioner had

also submitted a fresh representation on 27.09.2021 and the same was also taken into consideration and the enquiry was able to be completed only on 04.10.2021. In view of the same, the final order came to be passed by the 1st respondent only on 18.10.2021. 5.

This Court is satisfied with the explanation given by the respondent for the delay in passing the order. This Court does not find any contumacious conduct on the part of the respondent. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the 1st respondent, it is left open to him to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. 6.
