PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct Respondents 1 to 3 to conduct further investigation of the FIR in Crime No.688 of 2021 and include all the offences committed by accused as stated in the complant dated 27.12.2021.

O R D E R

The main grievance of the petitioner is that the First information Report has been registered under Sections 147, 447, 427 of IPC and the necessary charges have not been included in the said First Information Report. Hence, this criminal original petition filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to include the necessary offences by conducting the further investigation.

2. On the other hand, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced an Alteration Report sent by Sub-Inspector, Kadampuliyur Police Station, Kadampaliyur dated 15.12.2021, wherein, it is inter alia stated that after thorough investigation, the offences have been altered from Sections 147, 447, 427 of IPC to 147, 148, 447, 427, 294 (b), 354, 506 (ii) of IPC. Upon which, Page No.2 of 4

the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that since the charges have been altered, no furthers is required to be passed.

3. Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the Alteration Report produced by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition stands closed. No costs.
